आकाश के नीले परदे पर असंख्य टिमटिमाते तारों की शोभा तथा उनमें चंद्रमा मंगल बुध बृहस्पति शुक्र शनि राहु और केतु पृथ्वी के साथ और सौरमण्डल के प्रमुख सदस्य है।जिनका प्रधान सूर्य है।सूर्य इस चराचर जगत का उद्धबोधक है।अतः इनको बोधन भी कहा जाता है।कुछ आधुनिक ज्योतिर्विद कतिपय नये ग्रहों के प्रभाव का विश्लेषण कर उसका प्रभाव मानव जीवन पर पड़ता है। ऐसा विचार मानकर फलादेश करते है।जो सर्वथा विवेक शून्य है।उन ग्रहों में वरुण(नेपच्युन)प्रजापति(हर्षण)औऱ यम(प्लूटों)हे।इन ग्रहों की जानकारी हमारे आद्य आचार्यो को भी रही है।किन्तु इन ग्रहों का प्रभाव वास्तव में मानव जीवन पर नही पड़ता है।मानव जीवन मे उन ग्रहों का ही प्रभाव पड़ता है।जिनकी किरणे कम से कम 100 वर्ष में एक बार पृथ्वी पर आ सकती है।इन नये ग्रहों की किरणें एक हजार वर्ष में भूमि को प्रभावित करता है।अतः इनकी आवश्यक इन अल्प जीवी मानव समाज के लिए व्यर्थ मन जाता है।मानव की कुण्डली में ग्रहों के स्थिति के अनुसार ही शुभ व अशुभ का कथन हो सकता है।ग्रहों का किन किन स्थिति में व ग्रहो के योग से मानव जीवन प्रभावित हो सकता है।
ग्रह अपनी दशा अन्तर्दशा व प्रत्यंतर्दशा में भी वही फल देते है जैसे ग्रह स्थिति या ग्रहयोग होने पर देता है।

According to the position of the planets in the human horoscope, the statement of auspicious and inauspicious can be done. .
The planets give the same results in their condition, Antardasha and Pratyantardasha, as the planet gives when it is in position or planetary Yoga.
